It all started when…
They met in Cape May when they were teenagers, and the rest is history.
Just kidding, there’s more to it than that.
Ross and Lauren did in fact meet in Cape May, NJ when they were teenagers but didn’t start their entrepreneurial journey until about a year into their relationship. They fell in love with buying and restoring homes and eventually hosting their properties in town on AirBnB. They launched their first AirBnB property back in 2020 during the COVID pandemic and continued to buy properties to host vacationers in Cape May, NJ ever since.
The Buttonwood was their largest project to date and a huge success in town amongst both locals and travelers. They have a reputation for breathing new life into old historic properties. Together with Ross’s eye for the perfect fixer-upper and Lauren’s knack for interior design, they create the unimaginable.
In March of 2022, they topped their Buttonwood project and purchased Taco Caballito on Beach Avenue and turned it into an upscale tequileria that is still friendly with your pockets. With soft lights and greenery dropped throughout and a second-story balcony looking over the ocean, this restaurant & bar is only going to become more and more desirable.
They both want to continue to make a positive impact on the town, its close-knit community and eventually expand into more businesses outside of the Cape May area.
